BIOGRAPHY

I’m Elyas Rashidi Nasab, an artist whose journey began with a childhood passion for drawing. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been captivated by blank pages, filling them with imaginative characters and visual stories. That passion turned into purpose in 2006, and for over 19 years, I’ve been dedicated to exploring, learning, and evolving in the world of visual arts and tattoo design. My artistic spark was ignited by Disney animations and Marvel comic books, which drew me into the world of character design, cartoons, and caricature. I tested my skills through numerous national and international art competitions, proudly earning multiple awards and recognition. Though I studied Civil Engineering at university, I never strayed from art. Active participation in art communities and my technical education helped me merge engineering precision with artistic creativity, leading me to develop a sharp visual sense and a deep interest in conceptual character design. After years of building my skills in imaginative illustration, I transitioned into the world of tattoo art. From late 2022 to mid-2024, I had the honor of working alongside Master Behrouz Jones at one of Istanbul’s top tattoo studios, gaining hands-on experience in both tattoo design and execution. In 2025, I joined the global tattoo brand Cleopatra Ink, which operates over 140 branches worldwide. I currently work as a tattoo artist and designer at their Istanbul studio, where I continue to hone my craft in a highly professional environment. My background in engineering inspired me to take my contributions further by developing innovative tools for tattoo artists. In 2022, I designed and built Iran’s first cartridge tattoo pen. Although production was paused due to my migration process, the project marked the beginning of my journey into tattoo tech innovation. In 2024, I developed a special anti-glare filter eyewear for tattoo artists, designed to protect the eyes during long sessions under intense lighting. This product is now undergoing real-world testing in professional settings. For me, art isn’t just a career—it’s a journey of growth, innovation, and becoming the best version of myself. I strive to bridge the gap between creativity, technology, and experience, and I’m always seeking the next challenge that pushes me forward.
